​Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Kochi – Mararikulam (80 Kms/2 ½ Hrs)
Our representative will greet you at Kochi Airport and then transfer to Mararikulam. Upon arrival room will be available on immediate occupancy. check-in at your Resort. The Marari beach is nestled in the Alappuzha district and is a perfect holiday location. This beach is blessed with beautiful coconut palm trees and golden sands. The name of the beach comes from Mararikulam  which is a local fishing village on the Arabian Sea coast. The slow pace of life in the beach is a reviving experience. One can soak up the serenity on the sandy beach. There are a lot of sightseeing points around the beach.

 Day 02: Explore beach side in Marari  
Day at leisure in beach resort or you can walk in & around fisherman village.

Day 03: Mararikulam – Alleppey (30 Kms Approx 45 minutes)
After breakfast drive to Alleppey to board Houseboat at 1230 Hrs the beautifully decorated houseboats and begin the enchanting backwater cruising. The backwaters of Kerala is a unique product of Kerala and is found nowhere else in the world. A glide in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. You’re in a watery universe, so quiet, even you can hear your own blood pumping around your head. Sparkling greens, emerald backwaters, coir-laden houseboats and magical beauty heals your mind and body as you travel to surreal Kerala.

Day 04: Alleppey – Thekkady (160 Kms Approx 04 to 05 Hrs)
After breakfast disembark from Houseboat at 0930 Hrs, proceed for Periyar (Thekkady). Morning drive through the Western Ghats to Thekkady, a beautiful area of tea gardens, rubber estates and coffee and pepper plantations, located high in the Cardamom Hills. This wildlife sanctuary is an established tourist spot and home to elephants, tiger, bison, sambar, wild boar, langur etc. The artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar dam across the Periyar Lake adds to the charm of the park. Spread across 777 sq. km, of which 360 sq. km is thick evergreen forest, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is a declared Tiger Reserve.

Day 05: Thekkady – Munnar (130 Kms Approx 03 Hrs)
After breakfast proceed to spice plantation visit. A walk through the plantation opens up a vista of pristine greenery shrouded by low hanging clouds, gurgling brooks and a pale shadow of the Western Ghats in the backdrop. Enjoy the plantation of cardamom, pepper, rubber, vanilla, coffee and tea. The most abundantly found spice in Thekkady is pepper, but you will also see a variety of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric and curry leaves on the slanting slopes of the spice plantation than drive to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Munnar is the gateway of Hills in South India. Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Day 06: Explore Munnar,  Tea Gardens & Tea Museum
After breakfast, proceed for Munnar sightseeing tour and visit Tea Museum (Closed on Mondays).
Munnar has a legacy of its own when it comes to the origins and evolution of tea plantations. Taking account of this legacy and to preserve and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects on the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Kerala's high ranges, a museum exclusively for tea was opened some years ago by Tata Tea in Munnar. This Tea Museum houses curios, photographs and machineries; all of which have a story to tell on the origins and growth of tea plantations in Munnar. The museum is located at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar and is worth a visit.

Day 07: Munnar - Kochi (Drive 140 Kms / 4 Hours)
After breakfast this unique Journey begins in Kochi (Cochin) - the hub of South India, the Arabian Sea in the west. Experienc South India and its people, culture, history, exotic cuisine, and green shade of this coastal paradise. Kerala is India's most advanced society: With hundred percent literacy. Peaceful and pristine, For administrative purpose, the state of Kerala is divided into fourteen districts. Most of these districts offer all the tourism products typical of the State. Kochi - the queen of the Arabian Sea is one of the most interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. A root-conscious people of Kerala have preserved their past not only in the form of history books but also in the form of monuments and palaces. Places, palaces and institutions of historic value are being preserved conscientiously.

Day 08: Kochi Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for Kumbalangi village. Kumbalangi is a picturesque little village in central Kerala close to the suburbs of the portown of Kochi. It has a vast stretch of backwaters connected by interlocking waterways to the whole of Kerala. It is an ideal getaway location for tourists from all over the world. What makes it more interesting to visit Kumbalangi is that, it is a virgin landscape unspoiled by the excessive presence of tourists. Kumbalanghi is declared as the first model fisheries and tourism village of India which has its own tradition and culture. Our village visit package makes your soul transpire through your gleaming eyes and tour the country and bring the wealth of tranquility in to your mind. At the end you will know that the nature cares for you.
The program begins with serving of tender coconut on arrival, followed by a country board ride. Also visit Crab farm, agricultural farm, coin-yarning unit, coconut leave weaving, Chinese fishing net etc. Lunch will be served at the backwater front hall.
After lunch take a ‘tuk-tuk’ ride through the narrow country roads and you will be dropped to the car parking point.
 
Afternoon visit The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry (Closed on Fridays and National Holidays), renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fridays and Saturdays as well on Jewish Holidays) at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese trade.

Day 09: Kochi – Calicut (Drive 220 Kms Approx 05 Hrs)
After breakfast than drive to Calicut, once the capital of the powerful zamorins and a prominent trade and commerce centre, it was the most important region of Malabar in the days gone by. Today, lush green countrysides, serene beaches, historic sites, wildlife sanctuaries, rivers, hills, a unique culture and a warm, friendly ambience make Kozhikode (Calicut) a popular destination. 
Evening visit the Kappad beach where Vasco d agama set foot in 1498 which was the discovery of sea route to kerala. Also if time permits visit the beypore one of the prominent ports and fishing harbours, and was also an important trade and maritime centre during the days of the early Arab and Chinese travelers and later the Europeans. Soon after gaining prominence as a port and trade centre, Beypore slowly began to flourish as a centre for shipbuilding, since ships were 0in great demand merchants from Western Asia. The shipbuilding yard at Beypore is famous for its traditional construction of the Uru or the Arabian trading vessel. This tradition of shipbuilding is nearly 1,500 years old, and the craftsmanship of the workers here is exceptional.

Day 10: Calicut – Wayanad (100 Kms Approx 2 ½ Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Wayanad, Upon arrival check in to your resort.  Wayanad located in the north east of Kerala state and the most sought after tourist destination in Asia. Kerala the terrain of immense natural beauty is pertinently known as the ‘ecstasy of travelers’. From the imposing heights of the Western Ghats the country swells westward presenting a panorama of silent valleys clothed in the richest green. Day 11: Wayanad Sightseeing
Relax at your resort. Later visit Edakkal Caves which are considered being one of the earliest centres of human habitation. Inside the cave you will find ancient stone scripts, pictorial wall inscriptions of human and animal figures with peculiar headdresses, the swastik form, symbols and cave drawings of human figures, wheels, bows, knives, trees.

Day 12: Wayanad – Mysore – Sightseeing (150 Kms Approx 03 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Mysore.  Upon arrival in Mysore and check in at the hotel.
The capital of a former princely state, Mysore is a city of palaces and gardens and is famous for its silk, sandalwood and jasmine. With many grand palaces like Mysore Palace adorning the face of the city, Mysore has come to be known as 'City of Palaces'. The name Mysore has its roots in Indian mythology. The legend has it that Goddess Chamundi killed Demon Mahishasura here. Thus, the name Mysore. The city was once the capital of Wodeyar Dynasty till Independence.
Afternoon you will proceed on a half day city tour. The infatuation with Mysore begins with the Maharaja’s Palace, at the heart of the city. It is a veritable treasure trove of exquisite carvings and works of art from the world over. Overlooking the city of Mysore are the Chamundi Hills, where stands a monolithic statue of the Nandi Bull.  Proceed to the Rajendra Art Gallery which has some remarkable selections of paintings by Raja Ravi Verma, Nicholas Roerich and traditional paintings in the Mysore style.
