Day 01: Delhi to Kolkata (Fly)
Welcome on arrival at Kolkata and transfer to hotel, evening walk around the city to appreciate the new culture you are in, overnight at hotel.
Kolkata is the city of Joy, contrast and culture. Once the capital of British India - now the capital of West Bengal. A visit to Kolkata may bring visitors in touch with a combination of a rich 400 years old heritage, vibrant modern life and different cultures.

Day 02: Kolkata Sightseeing
Morning starts the half day city tour with an introduction about the glory of Bengal, visit the Flower Market - a unique wholesale market of flowers which is situated in the bank of river Ganges near the famous Howrah Bridge. Drive around the Heritage Buildings of Dalhousie Square, Visit the Mother Teresa’s House, the headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity followed by Victoria Memorial, Saint Paul’s Cathedral. Hop on to an old charming Local Tram and travel to the famous Kali Temple, experience a short Hand pulled Rickshaw ride.
Late afternoon you will be taken to Dakshineswar Kali Temple. It is famous for its association - with Ramakrishna who achieved spiritual vision here. Rani Rashmoni built this temple in 1847. The 12- spired temple with its enormous courtyard is surrounded by 12 other temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Experience the river cruise from Dakshineswar Temple to Belur Math across river Ganges by motorized boat and watch the glimpse of river along with the vibrant modern life and cultures of Kolkata. Belur Math is the international headquarters of Ramakrishna Mission. It was founded in 1899 by Swami Vivekananda, the world famous yogi and disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa.

Day 03: Kolkata | Bagdogra (Fly) | Gangtok (Drive Approx 4 hrs)
Transfer from hotel to airport to connect your flight to Bagdogra.
Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra airport and proceed to Gangtok, at an altitude of 5500 ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Gangtok Sightseeing
Morning enjoy full day sightseeing, covering Enchey Monastery, Chortan (Stupa), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Sunday) and Rumtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Centre, the sect of the Kagyu order – one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect.

Day 05: Gangtok | Darjeeling (Drive approx 4 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Darjeeling. Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion was the origin of the name Darjeeling, which was first discovered by a British Captain Lloyd in the year 1829.
Darjeeling is surrounded by tea gardens and a land of infinite variety and charm which will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. This little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning proceed for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial on the way back to the hotel.
Later in the morning enjoy sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday) You might also experience the famous Toy Train Joy Ride (subject to availability). This unique Mountain Railway' project was first started in 1878 by the initiative of Sir. Ashley Eden and is now a World Heritage. Rest of the evening is free. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Gangtok | Kalimpong (Drive Approx 2 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kalimpong - a quiet hill resort in eastern Himalaya, Kalimpong is famous for its orchids & Nurseries where some of the rarest cacti and orchids can be seen. Upon arrival check-in at hotel.
Afternoon experience the small Himalayan town starting from Durpin Dara (Hill Top) – a beautiful view point from where small town and the surroundings hills can be enjoyed followed by Zong Dong Palri Fo-Brong Monastery situated beside which belongs to Gelukpa sect. After that proceed to Orchid Nursery followed by visit to Gangjong Paper Industry which is a Handmade Paper Factory. Hand – made paper making is an ancient craft of in the Himalayan hills which are seen mainly in local areas for religious printings of Buddhist scripts. This paper is environment friendly and produced from Daffney Flower which are widely found in abundance in the Eastern Himalayan region. After visiting the Hand Made Factory we proceed to St Teresa's Church for a quick look at a chapel built in 1929 resembling a Buddhist Monastery and overlaid with Tibetan Motifs. From this point we proceed for a walk tour through the local market (Hath Bazaar) where you can experience the colorful life of the local inhabitants of this tiny Himalayan Town. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Kalimpong | Bagdogra.
This morning after late breakfast transfer to Bagdogra Airport (65kms/02hrs) to board the flight for onward connection.
